At present, there is still a significant gap between the domestic catalyst industry and the foreign level, and the industry has been in a long-term trade deficit, with a strong trend of domestic substitution in the future. According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, the total import and export volume of the catalyst industry in China reached 3.09 billion US dollars in 2021, an increase of 23% year-on-year. Among them, the trade deficit reached 1.78 billion US dollars, an increase of 27% year-on-year, making it the largest buyer market for chemical catalysts internationally.
